We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our development team at Userbrain. As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based user research platform. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience.

About the Job
- ⏱️ Contract Type: Part-time (32h/week)
- 💰 Minimum monthly gross salary: €2,617 (14 times per year, based on 32h/week, no all-in contract)
- 🧑💻 Location: Graz, Austria
What you will do
- Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (such as React)
- Collaborate closely with our design team to ensure the seamless integration of visual elements and user interactions
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring optimal performance across different devices and browsers
- Implement and maintain efficient and reusable code, following best practices and coding standards
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or bugs in the frontend code
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in frontend development, and share knowledge within the team
- Collaborate with backend developers and API teams to integrate frontend components with backend services
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide accurate time estimates for frontend development tasks
Requirements
What you offer
- You have proven work experience as a Frontend Developer or in a similar role
- You speak excellent English
- You are proficient in React
- Experience in GatsbyJS, Redux/Saga, NPM, Netlify, TypeScript, and Vite is excellent but not a must
- You have proficient knowledge in PHP and PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- You have experience with API integration and databases like MySQL
- You are familiarized with best practices such as code testing, continuous integration, and deployment
- You are passionate about User Experience and understand key UX/UI principles.
- You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- You enjoy working in a Startup - previous experience in a Startup is excellent, but not a must
