We are looking for you to support us from April 1st, 2022 in our Head Office in Essen or location in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Your tasks:
- As a Trainee at Global Data Strategy & Analytics you will get the chance to run through 2-3 core areas of the department, e.g. Business Consulting, Data Science, Engineering, or Operations Research
- You will contribute to the development and deployment of data and AI solutions in various ways, depending on your specific background and interest
- Several (inter-)national deployments during the trainee program will give you the opportunity to get insights into our business and logistics processes
- You will gain experience as a Business Consultant Data, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Operations Research Specialist
Your profile:
- Excellent university degree in a data centric area such as computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, physics, or equivalent professional experience
- Work experience from, e.g., student internships and/or past employment
- Proficient knowledge of English, a further language is an advantage
- Good social skills and intercultural competence (e.g. through studies, internships abroad)
- Enterprising mindset and proactive approach to business
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking
- Well-developed communication skills and high level of customer and service orientation
- Hands-on experience with a programming language such as Python, R, C++ or Java
- Experience with further technologies (e.g., SQL / relational databases, Git, Spark, Kafka) is an advantage
