For our location in Kassel, we are seeking to hire at the earliest possible date:
IT-System administrator (m/f/d)
Fulltime (40h). The position is initially limited to two years. A takeover is sought.
Your remit:
- Understanding a global and multi-office network infrastructure
- Administration of MS Office365 and MS Azure AD services connected with multiple sites
- Administration, monitoring and maintenance of our network, storage- and server environment (VMWare, Citrix, Windows Server, Veeam B&R, Netapp)
- Planning ahead for necessary system upgrades to support system growth
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, support with escalated help desk requests
- Upgrade and extend existing network infrastructure. Experience with Merki, Adtran, Ubiquiti systems would be an advantage
- Install servers, devices, and firewalls
- Create and maintain documentation for applications and processes including validation, change management and error management of computerized systems
- Work closely with team members in different departments and time zones efficiently and effectively
- Investigate and diagnose problems quickly and efficiently and coordinate with other employees or 3rd parties as needed to resolve them
- Provide support to remote users including installing and upgrading software, hardware setup, and configuring systems and applications
Your requirements:
- Successful completion of one's education as an IT specialist for system integration or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years work experience as a System Administrator
- Good knowledge of at last one scripting language
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Solid understanding of network technologies
- Knowledge of system security techniques
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in the healthcare industry or laboratories is an advantage
- Experience in the field of validation of computerized systems or cloud environments is an advantage
- Ability to perform in-depth research and troubleshooting for complex technical issues
- Ability to autonomously manage complex projects in a multitasking environment
