We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Software Engineer Multi Asset - Multi Management Platform (f/m/d). This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.
Technology plays a crucial role in the success of our business at Allianz Global Investors. We are carrying out a series of global change initiatives to boost our investment technology platforms and empower our investment teams. In this context, we are searching for a Software Engineer for our Change & Delivery team to operate and further develop our Multi Asset - Multi Management platform. We are looking for an inspiring client-centric IT professional with a good understanding of technology infrastructure and ideally some insights into the financial industry. The successful candidate will have experience in operating and developing software solutions, preferably in an international project-focussed environment, and contribute to the efficiency, productivity and success of AllianzGI.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve AllianzGI's Multi Asset - Multi Management platform which supports important business processes of multiple Investment teams across Europe
- Ensure day-to-day stability and high-quality support while as well change implementation in response to business needs incorporating non-functional and regulatory requirements
- Act as IT application specialist for the platform in close collaboration with respective support teams from operations and technology
- Become a business partner for the Multi Management investment teams and maintain excellent relationships with key partners
- Actively contribute to monthly meetings and build transparency to partners in terms of application incidents, updates & patches as well as change and release planning
- Ensure a stable operating environment looking at full eco systems with in/outbound data feeds, application layers as well output channels for reporting and analytics
- Drive forward innovation and digitization initiatives; incorporating non-functional and regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on the state of the art and new technologies in the market, that could improve the efficiency of our platform
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate has an agile mind-set and is a teammate who is comfortable working in multi-functional multidisciplinary teams.
Required:
- College degree in Computer Science/Math/Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Initial working experience in development and operations of business applications with a certain complexity level
- Shown experience in web development, Java, SQL as well as background in data integration, API's
- Broad understanding of data models in a business context and the ability to perform data analysis
- Experience in standardised software development lifecycle processes and related SDLC tools (Jira, Visual Studio Code, Bitbucket, AzureDevOps, Autosys, X-Ray)
- Understanding of non-functional requirements and IT procedures, key regulatory standards for business applications
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, global and culturally diverse environment; able to take an agile approach
- Strong communication skills in English
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce technology (Object Manager, Apex, Lightning), Microsoft reporting and analytics tools, and SaaS or cloud based solutions and related support models
- Additional language skills in German or French are a plus
