Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) in Frankfurt area
Your Tasks
- Initial analysis of quality issues occurs in the customer production process and within the field (defectiveness, field and 0-km claims) related to our products
- Evaluation and creation of 8D reports and other quality tools
- Monitoring of quality trends and initiate corrective actions
- Definition of technical root causes for quality issues
- Set up and improve the Quality Management process with our customer
- Manage and coordinate all channels of quality related communication with the customer.
- Ensure the communication between our HQ in Korea and our customer to resolve quality issues
- Build up strong relationship with customer production sites and the corresponding engineering team
- Support all quality discussions internal and external in regards to field quality and customer plants quality
- Coordination of resident engineers for each customer plant to ensure fast response
- Occasional travel to customer plants and dealers
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in engineering or comparable education
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the automotive industry as a Quality Engineer, Customer Assurance Engineer or related field
- Strong knowledge about problem solving tools like i.e. 8D reports, fishbone diagram, 5W technique
- Good understanding of development and production processes within the automotive industry
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good English & German language skills
