Product Owner (m/f/d) - Freaks CMS

Your mission

• Take over responsibility for the long-term development of our very own content management system that serves as a foundation for over a dozen esports websites 
• Align with various parties to plan and prioritize new features and other updates. Unify multiple ideas and perspectives into a centralized vision
• Work directly with the Web Development team to turn plans into reality
• Create documentation for your colleagues to help them using your software and contributing to its development 
• Help creating a sales strategy to make the CMS even more attractive for clients

Your profile

• Relevant working experience in a managerial role within an agile development team (Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar)
• You don’t always chase the fastest or easiest targets, but prefer long-term strategic thinking and solutions that are stable, flexible, and scalable, so they can be applied to a multitude of products
• You have a solid understanding of design and development processes. You can reasonably estimate what needs to be done to get a certain update completed.
• You are a strong communicator, fluent in English, and preferably also in German
• You are familiar with content management systems like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and TYPO3
• You are familiar with the gaming / eSports industry and have actively used esports websites or participated in tournaments. Knowing any of our Products is a plus
