Responsibilities
The position can be filled in Munich (DE), Villach (AT) or Nijmegen (NL).
In your new role you will:
- Design engineering of RF Power Amplifier, modules and application circuits for wireless infrastructure applications
- RF circuit design in III-V semiconductor technologies
- Lead product characterization, analysis of measurement data and recommendation of improvement measures
- Lead chip and module layout guidance
- Concept engineering of 5G RF front end modules
- Understand and optimize of customer application including interaction with key customers
- Failure analysis and problem solving

Eventually, you strive to deliver great results and demonstrate high quality standards in your work area e.g. design engineering of RF PA, characterization or 5G front ends.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics with solid knowledge in semiconductor physics or similar field
- At least more than 6 years of professional experience in RF Power Amplifier, module development and characterization, design experience in Doherty Power Amplifier is a plus
- First technical leadership experience
- Innovative mindset and problem solving attitude
- Profound system understanding of 4G/5G RF front ends as well as being familiar with wireless communication standards and requirements
- Expertise in working with design tools such as ADS, Cadence Virtuoso or HFSS
- Fluent English language skills, German is a plus
