Pricing Manager (f|m|d)Location: Wickede (Ruhr), Germany
You will be mainly responsible for the pricing management topics across the whole world / various regions in all continents and serving as a Finance Business Partner for Sales, reporting directly to the Group CFO.
Responsibilities:
General Pricing Management
- Pricing policy for the complete list of products, pricing of goods
- Monitor and standardize the discount and bonus policy
- 3C pricing: company, customer, competition
- Lifecycle pricing
Tender Pricing Management
- Advanced pricing with multiple criteria across the subsidiaries / regions
- Critical evaluation of tender conditions from the financial perspective, setting of the appropriate pricing policy to increase the chance of success
- Long-term contracts and deliveries – IRR, FX risks…
- Maintaining the knowledge acquired in the past to win in the future
Pricing Models
- Evaluation of projects for various business cases (products' sale vs. rental, service contracts' streams …)
- Documents all cost assumptions and certify cost data
- Total cost of ownership over the whole lifecycle of the product
- Total bed management models
- After sales service models
- Financing models incorporation (external / internal / operating lease)
- Value managed pricing models
Margin Management
- Internal margin management (intercompany margin vs. external price)
- Distribution management and optimization
- Margin combinations (services, financing, goods)
- Risk management (FX, risk items impact…)
Market Analysis
- Competition pricing monitoring
- Trends consideration – macro economical matters, inflation…
Qualifications:
- University degree
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong financial background incl. various evaluation models
- Customer orientation
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Fluent English and active German
- Proactive and self-motivated personality with strong work-ethic
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- Decision-making ability
