The Hasso Plattner Foundation aims to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies through science and education, improve access to art and culture, and support environmental conservation. Hasso Plattner is one of the founders of SAP, an enterprise software company, and has been chairman of its supervisory board since 2003. In 1998, Hasso Plattner founded the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Engineering (HPI), marking his first significant philanthropic contribution. After signing the Giving Pledge (initiated by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet), he established the foundation in 2015. The Hasso Plattner Foundation’s main office is in Potsdam, Germany, with additional offices in San Francisco, USA, and Cape Town, South Africa.

Major Responsibilities
- Assist in the full investment cycle from sourcing to investing and divesting external fund managers
- Identifying new investment themes and fund management teams globally
- Help in building out the professional network to managers, investors and banks
What we are looking for?
- Excellent Master’s degree from an Ivy League university or European top university (LSE, Oxford etc.)
- First experience in a top tier investment management/advisory firm (internships)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to do fundamental research
- Structured and methodical working style with attention to detail
- A global perspective with an interest in a wide range of different investment themes
- The role will be based at the company’s offices in Potsdam and requires willingness to travel
- Fluency in English and another language, besides German, would be a plus (e.g. Mandarin, Spanish, …)

- Mature personality who contributes to an inspiring working atmosphere and is eager to explore and learn new things daily
- Strong work and business ethics: The successful candidate will be a self starter and is used to “getting things done”.
