Our News Media International (NMI) team is in charge of the international media assets of the Axel Springer Group. These include assets such as Insider, Upday, RASMAG, Business Insider Germany, Media Pioneer or Finanzen.net and digital marketplace & classified assets such as Awin, Idealo and Bonial. Our team is a trusted advisor and sparring partner for our asset’s executive management and Axel Springer’s top management. We drive transformational change by overseeing and supporting high-impact projects to help reaching the group’s strategic goals. We support our top management in actively expanding our portfolio through new investments in Europe and in the US.

Become a
Strategy & Investments News Media International intern
- support on complex projects in all areas of business and corporate development related to our portfolio companies (growth initiatives, strategic re-organization, spin offs, M&A, divestments, etc.)
- develop and assess business plans for business initiatives and both portfolio and target companies
- conduct competitor analyses, identify market trends and turn them into actionable solutions
- participate in interviews and workshops with the local management
- carry out web analytics and market research
- support preparing presentations for the Executive Board and other management meetings
student in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Economics or a comparable field from a leading university and also bring the following
- practical experience in strategy consulting, venture capital, investment banking or in the role of entrepreneur in a start-up
- good analytical skills, an entrepreneurial and conceptual mindset as well as a drive for numbers
- willingness to perform, high professionalism and a strong team player
- a strong interest in digital media and digital business models
- a responsible, flexible and committed working style with a degree of assertiveness
- fluency in English (German as plus), another language such as French or Polish being an advantage
- very good MS-Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
