The Role


As the Global Head of Employee Enablement, you will build an environment that inspires and enables employees to grow and will revolutionize the employee experience across Siemens Energy globally. 
Reporting into the Global Head of Talent Management together with your direct team of 6 and the broader Talent Management (TM) team you will craft and build new products, solutions, and processes around employee growth lifecycle. Importantly, you and your will collaborate and guide the TM team, HR Partners, and our business to create holistic solutions for the key challenges we face as an organisation. 
How can we use the strengths of our organisation and change and adapt to becoming an integrated energy technology company? Your remit will be large as you’re a designer of solutions and change and you will use the efforts of the different areas of TM working with the leads of L&D, Performance & Succession, Consulting and Talent Acquisition to drive company wide change. 
Directly within your reporting line are the core HR topics related to development (how we grow and develop our colleagues and management) and how we can impact these topics in the company overall. Also your team are responsible for our approaches to employee engagement and focusing on the point of enabling managers to take actions to drive engagement. You will be the 'Architect' of the Global Employee Enablement function.

Your profile

International leadership experience in Strategic HR, Talent Management, organisational change, learning & development.
A demonstrable track record in Talent Management related functions coupled with proven experience in developing and rolling out new HR products globally.
A business partner and consultant with a solution-oriented mentality yet who loves to build pragmatic solutions to impact complex problems.
A collaborative focus as you will work closely with HR COE heads , HR partners, our business leaders to provide a integrated HR product journey.
You are a people leader and truly care about nurturing talent.
Excellent ‘C-level’ presentation and organizational skills, enabling you to influence and communicate effectively.
Being a truly global organization, you will need to have deep interpersonal and intercultural sensitivity.
Ability to travel globally as and when required.


Your responsibilities

Your function “Employee Enablement” looks at our people related challenges holistically and bringing in people science and new practices. Dealing at the strategic level of what is the causation and how can we affect it, in many cases you and your team will work in partnership with your Talent Management COE peers and HR partners to implement and coordinate solutions that go beyond the individual products but how we impact these topics in the company overall. You will have a direct impact on the engagement of our employees and ultimately our business success.
You will design products to enabling human energy using our approaches to performance and human motivation at work.
You and your team will look at the “Red Thread” through talent management products deal with the challenges holistically and provide employees with the right tools at the right time.
Work with your engagement lead to design and deploy a new employee engagement approach which will allow us to listen to our people and for them to be empowered to team up for action. Providing our managers with extraordinary tools to enable human energy.
Ownership to develop & implement solutions on the core HR topics around how we as a company lead ourselves and manage our people and the overall architecture of how this content and tools tie together
Accountable for the design and implementation of core development journeys to accelerate our people
