To support IKOS’ growth and strengthen our engineering department in Germany, we are recruiting ETCS System Engineers having experience in the field, keen to work on strategic projects in the railway sector.
Responsibilities
System specification
- Analyse customer requirements
- Write ETCS system specifications for Onboard or Trackside equipment
- Perform design and technical integration of ETCS systems
- Support ETCS signalling systems integration and tests
- Ensure projects are delivered in compliance to relevant railway safety standards (CENELEC standards EN50126/128/129)
- You hold an engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's Degree), Electronics/Automation/Telecommunication is a plus
- Several years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
- Mandatory experience in Design/System Engineering or Testing on ETCS L1/L2, CBTC or other signalling systems
- Knowledge of NTCs (PZB/LZB, KVB, SCMT…) is a plus
- You speak English at a business fluent level, German is an asset
- Ability to write technical specifications, interface with clients and subcontractors, support on field tests
- Rigorous, analytical and systematic approach to work tasks & Team player
